Writer and Book Critic

John Kazanjian is a writer and book critic living in New York. His work has been published in The Brooklyn Rail, Rain TaxiEntropy Magazine, PANK, The Rupture, JMWW, and elsewhere. He holds a BA in English and Textual Studies from Syracuse University and an MFA from The New School in Manhattan. As a voting member of the National Book Critics Circle, he has served as a judge for the John Leonard Prize. Currently, he is working on his debut novel about loss and the friction between nihilism and self-preservation.
